Dear Permafrost Researcher,

You are cordially invited to join us for our 2012 Annual Meeting of the U.S. Permafrost Association, taking place during the AGU Fall Meeting.

We will start with a reception with light food and a cash bar at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, in the Pacific Room J on the 4th Floor of the Marriott Marquis, immediately followed by our Annual Meeting.

It will be a great opportunity to meet new and old friends, enjoy some good food, hear about the latest USPA news and activities, and cast your vote for new members of the board of directors.

The USPA will report on the recent TICOP, our educational and outreach activities through our educational committees, and contributions to permafrost-related activities within the International Permafrost Association. We will also be recognizing the eight students and young researchers who won travel stipends to AGU.
